Saturday Kitchen Recipes Today 30 Mar 2016

This will be James Martin’s last Saturday Kitchen as presenter. He announced he was leaving the live BBC One cookery show last month, bringing his ten year tenure as a presenter to an end.

His easy charm is widely credited with boosting audiences. Viewing figures rose from around 1.3 million to an average of 2 million, even reaching 3 million at its peak.

Earlier this week, the BBC announced a line-up of celebrity chefs to take over as guest hosts after he leaves.
They are Lorraine Pascale, Michel Roux Jr, John Torode, Rick Stein, Ching-He Huang, Gennaro Contaldo and Matt Tebbutt, who currently presents Food Unwrapped and regularly contributes to the programme.
