Villa Flora Lugana, Italy, 2024 : Waitrose, From £11 ↘

Villa Flora Lugana 2024 is a vibrant Italian white wine from the Lugana region near Lake Garda. Made from the Turbiana grape, it offers a rich profile with notes of citrus, peaches, bananas, and herbs, complemented by minerality. Its crisp acidity makes it perfect for pairing with seafood pasta, salads, and fish dishes. The wine’s freshness and complexity are enhanced by the unique terroir of Lugana, featuring calcareous soils and a mild climate influenced by Lake Garda.

Angela Hartnett was instrumental in helping Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant Petrus achieve its first Michelin star. She later went on to earn her own Michelin star at Murano, a restaurant she opened in Mayfair in 2008, which was inspired by her Italian heritage.
